RISING HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUMS, HIGHER COSTS FOR CARE AND FOR YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS, RESTRICTIVE DOCTOR NETWORKS… Are you concerned about these and other current problems with the health care industry?

“New Mexico can lead the country with a statewide solution!” states DR. DAVENA NORRIS, our Conversation leader this month. She will demonstrate how the New Mexico Health Security Plan would provide comprehensive, affordable health coverage, and freedom of choice of providers.

Dr. Norris is a Pharmacist Clinician from Las Cruces who works in a hospital and family medicine clinic.  She graduated from the UNM College of Pharmacy in 2012 and completed a post-graduate residency program at the Southern Arizona VA in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Norris received the “Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award” from the New Mexico Pharmacists Association in 2016. She sees the benefits and failings of our current healthcare system every day and is committed to helping create a more simple, affordable, inclusive, and just system.

Dr. Norris has a biography that includes a wealth of diverse work, leadership, accomplishments, and interests that will be available in print at this Conversation. Please join us!

The Federation of Democratic Women of Dona Ana County (FDWDAC) presents “Conversations With Democrats” on the 4th Saturday of every month. We invite a qualified guest to speak on a subject of current political interest, then facilitate a group conversation.  For more information, check our Facebook Page or our Web Page at .

THANK YOU ALL for your continued interest and participation.

Refreshments will be served and please bring a friend along with you! All are welcome.
